Ostomy Awareness Day is tomorrow. I encourage you to take this time to educate and advocate on behalf of people living with an ostomy. The Education & Resources section has been updated.
This year's theme, Navigate the Journey Together, brings both my professional worlds together, that of a GI Oncology Nurse Navigator and Certified Ostomy Care Nurse. In honor of this I have created some resources, see the attached educational tools: Ways to Navigate your Ostomy Journey for patients and Navigating your Patients through the Ostomy Journey infographic for nurses.
