Annual Ostomy Product and Health Fair

The Ostomy Support Association in Fort Worth will host our Annual Ostomy Product and Health Fair on Sunday, August 20th from 2-4pm. 

Representatives from Coloplast, Hollister, Convatec, Safe-n-Simple, Ostomy Resolutions and Anacapa will be in attendance to provide guidance and samples, answer questions, and show their newest products. 

 We will welcome Brian Kelley, Stakeholder Manager at DFW International Airport, U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Transportation Security Administration (TSA). Brian will be available to discuss TSA security screening policies and procedures, specifically as it pertains to ostomates. He will also have information on services such as TSA Cares and TSA Pre-Check. These programs are designed to help passengers with disabilities and medical conditions prepare for the screening process.  

We are also pleased to welcome a few new vendors this year, Abilitee Adaptive Wear pouch covers and belts, Stoma Cloak pouch covers, and Trinity Vista Dermatology. 

And, of course, we will have our Wound and Ostomy Nurses available to answer questions. 

The Fair will be held in the Carl E. Everett Administration Building on the UNT Health Science Center campus. The address is 3500 Camp Bowie (the NW corner of intersection of Camp Bowie and Montgomery Street) Please park in Lot 6 off Clifton Street, one block east of Montgomery Street off Camp Bowie. Enter the building under the flagpoles and take the elevators down to the first floor.
